Motivation To Learn

What was the motivation? maybe some people already know what is called the motivation but not a few who still do not understand the nature of motivation itself. Motivation is the reason why a person acts or with other words that cause a person to take action. Motivation can arise as a result of needs that must be met (Abraham Maslow) is often referred to as a hierarchy of needs where teory teory This explains the level of need for someone so that the emergence of an urge to meet them.


    
Maslow separated the five needs into the sequences. Physiological and safety needs are described as lower-level needs, while social needs, respect, and self-actualization as a top-level requirements. The difference between these two levels is the basic premise that top level needs met internally while the lower level needs are predominantly satisfied externally.

     

    
Reviewing the explanation above, in learning or teaching and learning activities learners should have the motivation before they learn, this is in because that if the learners have the motivation or willingness to have encouragement in learning the results achieved will be as optimal as possible, but if a learners lack the desire or motivation in learning the results are not as good as possible with students who have high motivation, the situation resulting from their learning activities only to the extent of coercion and the relative knowledge they can not survive long


    
So what needs to be done if the motivation comes and settling ourselves?. Actually motivation itself can arise from the two lanes. The first point of motivation will emerge through self-motivation that comes from ourselves can only happen when someone get something out the problems that arise and trigger a person to perform an act of completion. example is that if a student wants to get the class champions will be keen to learn when he's emerged as a motivation to learn and optimized to realize what he wanted.


    
The second point is the motivation created by external environmental influences, this can happen because of that a student can not be separated from the environmental components, such as teachers or their parents. Part of a teacher at the time of teaching and learning activities take place sometimes insert a suggestion of positive suggestions for their students so that students become the spirit of learning, as well as with parents, although sometimes there are still many parents have not realized their words that contain a positive value or inducements to learn, it can form a cause why their child wants to learn. The above examples of things that can be categorized causal motivation from the outside that can effectively establish a good thing in the activities or the level of willingness to learn students.


    
So to answer the question of how to create motivation? there is some solution or some tips are:


    
1. Let the students express themselves freely because then the students will try to realize what he had dreamed

    
2. Give your child's understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of what they are doing in learning so they can think of what they do

    
3. Give the words of wisdom if they get into trouble, so their motivation may be back down again.

    
4. Give the gift if the children get good grades so that their spirit will remain intact.

    
5. Appreciate their activities so as not to bring the element of coercion that would be disturbing activities and their learning motivation


    
After knowing the motivation, hopefully will not happen again forcing someone to learn, because learning in the force will not change in terms of mental and one's knowledge. Instead of learning a fun can trigger students' love of learning
